Cloud dialers offer the advantage of democratizing hardware costs as well as IT costs, since they are often easier to configure than traditional dialing solutions. They are often used by telemarketers, customer service agents and inside sales reps in order to minimize time spent dialing and enable agents to spend more time speaking on the phone. Hosted dialers can sometimes integrate with other cloud-based solutions such as Salesforce in order to log call metrics.
