Revenue.io’s CMO William Tyree was recently joined by Matthew Sweezey, Salesforce’s Director of Market Strategy, Kraig Swensrud, Founder of Qualified & GetFeedback, and Sales Expert Andy Paul. The four discussed specific approaches, tactics and technologies that teams can apply to help position themselves properly in a rapidly changing economic environment.
The group covers the need to double down in all things digital, including investments in technologies that not only enable remote sales but also allow for the analysis and reporting of nearly every activity. That way, teams are not only able to analyze their performance. but adjust it accordingly to maintain performance.
Messaging will also need to be changed. Customers aren’t always looking to be sold to, and stressful circumstances need to be helped. Sales teams should shift their messaging and strategies to be as helpful as possible, even going as far as to give things away.
Teams must meet customers within their own context, rather than bringing them into theirs. One way to do that quickly and effectively is though AI, which will also help managers manage their team better.
