Years ago, when we were building the original prototype for what would become Revenue.io, we knew that we would have to deliver dramatic gains in productivity, engagement and performance insight for our customers. But we went about that task with the confidence that there was one critical element we didn’t have to worry about: finding high-quality voice carriers for our customers. Why? Because our partner, Twilio, had already figured it out.
Last year we were able to return the favor as Twilio became a Revenue.io customer. We’re incredibly proud of the fact that Twilio’s sales team uses the very products they helped us build. Thanks in large part to Twilio, today we can not only offer an all-in-one sales acceleration & voice communications platform out of the box, but also integrate our productivity and engagement tools with any telephony system.
Now, at long last, Twilio is getting the public recognition it deserves. The company went public today in the first successful tech IPO of 2016. Congrats to Jeff Lawson and the entire team.
Revenue.io’s Chief Architect Kyle Roche presented at the inaugural Twilio Conference today, discussing how call sales and marketing application Revenue.io leveraged the Twilio platform, and how the solution seeks to revolutionize real-time performance insight.
While being a robust call tracking solution, Roche demonstrated how Revenue.io is also a mobile call center solution that allows brands unprecedented insight into call origins through the use of smart numbers.
The TwilioCon event, a new two-day conference created by the company to bring together entrepreneurs, developers and technology enthusiasts, is completely sold out.
Other speakers include former Pixar CTO Oren Jacob, reporters Jolie O’Dell of VentureBeat, Alastair Goldfisher of Thomson Reuters and Matt Rosoff of Business Insider, as well as up-and-coming developers such as Kevin Whinnery from Appcelerator and Ian Hunter from Zaarly.
Since launching its suite of developers’ tools, companies have used Twilio to build a wide range of cloud-based voice and SMS applications. We chose to incorporate Twilio platform because of their scalable and reliable voice APIs. While many businesses investigate Twilio looking for innovative and reliable telephony solutions. While Twilio offers great options for building your own app, some companies might prefer to invest in a proven product rather than incurring the costs of building a product themselves.
To that end, our partner Twilio recently launched the Twilio Showcase, a one-stop shop for customers seeking pre-built solutions. The solutions featured in Twilio’s showcase offer the reliability of Twilio telephony, but can democratize the costs of building a from-scratch solution. The Twilio Showcase is a great option for companies looking for new solutions that enhance business communications, security, collaboration, privacy and more. Revenue.io is currently one of the featured companies in the showcase. It’s a perfect example of a solution that offers Twilio-powered enterprise telephony features right out of the box.
Our softphone app for Salesforce delivers crystal clear calls from your Chrome Browser. Inside sales reps can call any lead or contact directly from Salesforce.com, log every call in Salesforce automatically, save call recordings and enjoy smarter conversations thanks to contextual data from LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and other rich sources of prospect data.
We also offer integrated call tracking solutions enable marketers to make adaptive ad investments based on real-time ROI reporting. Twilio’s telephony APIs enable us to provide our customers with local and toll-free call tracking numbers at a fraction of the cost of other companies.
If you’re looking for a new business communications solution, be sure to check out the Twilio Showcase before building your own to see if Revenue.io or one of Twilio’s partners is already offering a product that fits the bill.
We’re gearing up for an exciting week at TwilioCon. The convention, hosted by our partner Twilio, will take place Oct. 16-18 at the Concourse Exhibition Center in San Francisco. The second annual TwilioCon is designed to bring together Twilio’s quickly growing community of entrepreneurs, developers, system integrators and software vendors.
Last year, Twilio featured prominent technology community members who were crucial to the Twilio eco-system, including Revenue.io. The event promises to be even better, featuring keynote speeches from industry leaders such as Angel Investor Ron Conway, Box co-founder and CEO Aaron Levie and Twilio Founder and CEO Jeff Lawson.
We had a lot of fun last year, and we’re looking forward to another memorable TwilioCon.
